Thursday Spotlight: 2 March 2023

We need Sunday Prayer Team volunteers.

Almost every Sunday during Communion, we offer, at the back of the Sanctuary, one-on-one prayer for individuals who need prayer for themselves or prayer for someone in their family or community. This is a powerful ministry that makes real differences in the lives of our Church family.

Our team of Sunday Pray-ers is somewhat depleted, and we need additional volunteers who are willing to pray for others on Sunday mornings.

If you are willing to participate as a Prayer Team member on Sundays, please email Deacon Mark at office@holytrinityanglicanchurch.org.

We will provide training to help you pray comfortably in this context, if you aren't already so equipped.

Second Sunday Story - Clay Clarkson

Our Second Sunday Story this month will feature Clay Clarkson, a writer, musician, worship leader and co-founder of Whole Heart Ministries.

Whole Heart is focused on strengthening families in the Lord, equipping Christian parents to give them help and hope to raise wholehearted children for Christ.

Clay has an inspiring story that you won't want to miss. Join us at 9:50 AM on Sunday, March 12 (next Sunday between services) for Clay's episode of Second Sunday Stories.

Coming Offerings in March!

Here are two additional special events coming in March for our Holy Trinity family:

Missions Making a Difference: One of the ministries HTAC supported financially in 2022 is Care 2 Share. This ministry, registered in the UK, provides a variety of care and support programs to communities in Asia. They have provided water wells to rural communities, life-skills training for under-privileged women, and discipleship for followers of Jesus. One of the principals of Care 2 Share, will be at Holy Trinity on Sunday, March 26 to provide a briefing on the ministry work of Care 2 Share.  He will speak between services in our Sanctuary from 9:50 to 10:40 AM.

Lenten Contemplative Evening Service: We will have an evening contemplative service on Sunday, March 26 at 6:30 PM. This service, like the contemplative service during Advent, will be a sung Compline liturgy with special music and art pieces focused on the Lenten themes of repentance and prayer. This will be a wonderful opportunity for deep worship on the Sunday prior to Palm Sunday and Holy Week.
