As a member of the former PEARUSA, we have a particular debt to and love for Rwanda and the Anglican province of Rwanda.

PEARUSA was a Missionary District (MD) and church planting movement of the Anglican Church of Rwanda (Province de L’Eglise Anglicane au Rwanda—PEAR), which is now a part of the Anglican Church of North America (ACNA). It is a movement of churches and clergy who are birthed in Rwanda, planted in North America, bearing fruit in our communities.

We are in a sister-2-sister relationship with Nyagatovu parish in Kibungo Diocese.  Four of us have recently returned from spending time with Pastor Nathan Muhutu, our sister parish pastor, and bishop Emmanuel Ntazinda, the Bishop of Kibungo.  We are actively  praying through how to deepen that relationship.

We see ourselves as standing shoulder to shoulder as we together meet the needs of both America and Rwanda.
